1) Call meeting to order (Chris Klaren)

3) Minutes of Dec 3 meeting approved                           

4) Reports:                

·        Scoutmaster

·        Troop Christmas party, Dec 19 (Al D)  Treats & gift grab-bag exchange.

·        Secretary (none)

·        Treasurer (Dana Jensen) Approximately $2,000 in scouts’ accounts. Final figures from popcorn sale and wreath sale are pending

·        Outdoor/activities coordinator

·        Planet X, Dec 11 (Al D.) 11 Scouts, 3 Adults attended

·        Christmas mass setup/removal in church basement. Dec 23 and 26 (Dana J)

·        Orienteering skills, Dec 30 (Chris K)  3 Scouts. Thanks to Ken Graham and Kevin  Murphy for assistance

·        Troop Campout, Jan 8-9 (Al D) Leave St. Ed’s Saturday at 8:00a.m. for Camp Ingawanis

·        Wild Game Feed / Court of Honor, Jan 15 (Ken B, Steve M) Families invited. Inside heated hangar. Starts at 4:00, eat at 5:00pm. Bring chairs and table service. For further information, check e-mail.

·        Klondike Derby, Feb 5 (Al D) Troop 1 defending champion, need minimum of 5 scouts for team.

·        Scout Sunday, Feb 6 (Jon B) 9:00 Mass. Will co-ordinate with Pack 25.

·        Advancement coordinator

·        Advancement activities (Chris K) 4 merit badges. 2 special awards (World Conservation Badge – Kevin Murphy, Dan Murphy)

·        Lakeland district merit badge college, Clear Lake, Mar 5. Call Scout office for specific merit badges offered. Need adult organizers. Call Steve Murphy with questions

·        Chaplain

·        Winnebago Council Catholic Awards Ceremony, St. Ed's, Jan 23, 1:30 (Steve M)

·        Training coordinator

·        Equipment coordinator

·        Feasibility of storage shed (Steve D) Preliminary discussion with Roger Judas, Buildings & Grounds Chair. Further information next meeting.

·        Fundraising coordinator

·        Wreath sales wrap-up (Lisa M) Final report anticipated next meeting

·        Pancake breakfast at KC hall, Jan 16 (Steve D) Publicity in progress. Need adults and scouts to work either 6:30a.m to 10a.m. OR l0a.m. to 1:30p.m. Need 4 Adults, 4 Scouts per shift.

·        Flapjackers pancake breakfast ticket sales Mar 5 (Al D.) Great way for scouts to make money. Get tickets from Al.

·        Membership coordinator

·        Webelos transition from Sacred Heart (Steve M) Anticipate 4 scouts to join troop.

5) Old Business

·        Pop can collection fundraiser. Tabled until April. Possible fundraiser for Boundary Waters.

·        Sun Rivers district swim program (Feb-Apr ’05) (Ken G) Location may change. New information will be forwarded via e-mail.

6) New Business

·        Summer camp (July 10-16)
