·        Outdoor/activities coordinator

·        Court of Honor & troop cookout, July 16, report – Well attended, the food was great, and the Scouts did a great job with the Court of Honor.

·        Troop campout, Aug 19-20, report – Great turnout of 16 Scouts and 9 adults for the chilly 3-1/2 hour tubing float down the Upper Iowa River.  A number of folks went to Decorah on Sunday for the shooting activity.  The group noted that there was a lot of food wasted due to overestimation of the menu plan by the Scouts.  The next campout we will try a common menu for each meal and distribute the ingredients to each patrol for preparation.

·        UNI campout & service hours, food provided, Sep 8-9 – UNI is looking for a group to stay overnight in a tent to prevent vandalism.  There should be no muss, no fuss, as they provide a circus tent and food, Fri night 7 PM to Sat morning 7 AM.  We will need a count of the people attending so food can be ordered.  6 hours of service credit will be provided upon request.

·        Troop campout, Sun Rivers District Fall Camporee, Sep 22-24 – information will be shared as it becomes available.

·        Advancement coordinator

·        Advancement activities – 47 merit badges were awarded since July 10, most of them earned at summer camp.  3 Philmont arrows and 3 Philmont Duty to God awards were earned.

·        Merit Badge College, Nov 4, update – we expect to have most Scouts registered by the next troop meeting on Aug 27.

·        Personal Fitness Merit Badge update – 12 scouts completed all of the requirements.  There are several others with partial completion.

·        Cycling merit badge update – approximately 8 scouts are working towards completion of their requirements.

·        Equipment coordinator

·        Storage shed update - $7865 raised to-date, and we are waiting to hear from St. Ed’s and Columbus booster clubs for contributions.  We can start the concrete ASAP, although the possibility that a zoning variance may be required was discussed.

·        Fundraising coordinator

·        Pop can collection fundraiser, Aug 12 report, Sep 9 plan – we expect $400+ from the August collection.  We will need as many people as we can round up for the September drive due to the many activities occurring that weekend.

·        Sturgis Falls adult fundraiser for Scoutmaster fund, June 24, report – we have received the $565 check and it will be applied to the Scoutmaster fund.

·        Popcorn sales update – sales start Sep 30.  The group discussed various incentives to boost troop sales, and approved the following:  Scouts will split the profits from the first $300 of sales, 70% Scout, 30% troop.  All profits on Scout sales over $300 will be applied 100% to the Scout.

·        Wreath sales update – no update

·        Membership coordinator
