Scoutmaster
Weather
conditions have wreaked havoc with the campout schedule, as icy conditions kept
the troop out of Ingawanis. Alex Potter
presented his Eagle project that he completed for the House of Hope. He developed plans and organized the
renovation of some of the facilities.
The project and its execution were well received by the committee.

Treasurer Total $7,003.12
(general fund $2,290.93, Scoutmaster Fund $655.10, Shed Account $1,285.64,
Scout Accounts $2,771.45). We have not
yet received the $1000 from the St. Eds Booster Club, and Jon Beyer will
follow up with the Booster Club leadership.

Wild Game Feed / Court of Honor, Nov 18 holding
the event in the church basement was very convenient with the kitchen, had a
great turnout for the event.

Electronics / Work Weekend campout, Dec 8-9 this
already rescheduled once event was iced out, will work with the Scouts to try
to reschedule once more perhaps to February.
·
Santas workshop teardown, set up for Christmas mass
troop will help rearrange the church basement Wed, Dec 19 at 6:00 pm.

District Swim program Jan 9Mar 12, 2008 11
Scouts have registered, a very good turnout.

Red Flannel Campout, Jan 11-13 to be held at WSR

shed Signage, appreciation cookout in March, update the sign should be
finished this week and ready for installation when conditions are more
moderate.

Pop can
collection fundraiser, Nov 24 report, next collection Jan 5 the November
collection set a new record of $778. If
the weather cooperates, we expect to have good results for January.

Popcorn
sales, report with most Scouts selling popcorn for Jamboree, only 2 Scouts
sold for the troop, with a good total of $500.
·
Wreath
sales, report total sales of $2200 were achieved, resulting in about $400
profit. The cash & carry sales after
Sunday mass were negatively influenced by the bad weather.

5) Old
Business
·
High
adventure activities, update on Sea Base 2009 Tim Klein will be contacting
Scouts and parents to gage interest for a 2009 trip. The troop will need a firm commitment before
registering Jan 15 Feb 15.

High
adventure activities, update on Philmont 2009 9 Scouts (8 first-time
Philmont), and 6 adults (3 firm commitments) have expressed a strong
interest. We should have a date for the
trek sometime in the next few months.

Jamboree, July 2010 no update
6) New Business

Wood
Badge update Mike Potter Court of Honor, Nov 18
Congratulations to Mike! He received his
Wood Badge beads Nov 18 after completing his ticket.
·
My
Waterloo Days beverage pour or trash pickup Dana was
asked if the troop had interest in helping at My Waterloo Days. The group agreed to pursue the beverage pour
to help fund the Scoutmaster fund that will likely be in demand with high
adventure and jamboree activities.

sledding party and Dutch option gift exchange at Als on Sat, Dec 22, noon to
3:00 pm. Bring sleds, snowboards,
Scouts, parents, etc. $5 limit on gifts
for the exchange.
