·         Scoutmaster – Weather conditions have wreaked havoc with the campout schedule, as icy conditions kept the troop out of Ingawanis.  Alex Potter presented his Eagle project that he completed for the House of Hope.  He developed plans and organized the renovation of some of the facilities.  The project and its execution were well received by the committee.

·         Secretary

·         Treasurer – Total $7,003.12 (general fund $2,290.93, Scoutmaster Fund $655.10, Shed Account $1,285.64, Scout Accounts $2,771.45).  We have not yet received the $1000 from the St. Ed’s Booster Club, and Jon Beyer will follow up with the Booster Club leadership.

·         Outdoor/activities coordinator

·         Wild Game Feed / Court of Honor, Nov 18 – holding the event in the church basement was very convenient with the kitchen, had a great turnout for the event.

·         Electronics / Work Weekend campout, Dec 8-9 – this already rescheduled once event was iced out, will work with the Scouts to try to reschedule once more perhaps to February.

·         Santa’s workshop teardown, set up for Christmas mass – troop will help rearrange the church basement Wed, Dec 19 at 6:00 pm.

·         District Swim program – Jan 9–Mar 12, 2008 – 11 Scouts have registered, a very good turnout.

·         Red Flannel Campout, Jan 11-13 – to be held at WSR

·         Fundraising coordinator

·         Pop can collection fundraiser, Nov 24 report, next collection Jan 5 – the November collection set a new record of $778.  If the weather cooperates, we expect to have good results for January.

·         Popcorn sales, report – with most Scouts selling popcorn for Jamboree, only 2 Scouts sold for the troop, with a good total of $500.

·         Wreath sales, report – total sales of $2200 were achieved, resulting in about $400 profit.  The cash & carry sales after Sunday mass were negatively influenced by the bad weather.

·         Membership coordinator

·         Round Table Update

5) Old Business

·         High adventure activities, update on Sea Base 2009 – Tim Klein will be contacting Scouts and parents to gage interest for a 2009 trip.  The troop will need a firm commitment before registering Jan 15 – Feb 15.

·         High adventure activities, update on Philmont 2009 – 9 Scouts (8 first-time Philmont), and 6 adults (3 firm commitments) have expressed a strong interest.  We should have a date for the trek sometime in the next few months.

·         National Jamboree, July 2010 – no update
